Blog Base Plates, Tables and Structures by Lowa on March 8, 2018 We have added support for tables, base plates and structures to nControl. There are now four distinctive layers: Tables: Add the tables on which you want to build your layout. There is a section for metric tables and one for US tables. Base plates: The base plate designs are loaded from .svg files so they look crisp even when you zoom in. Tracks: Design your train or monorail layout like you did in the previous versions of nControl. The tracks are drawn on top of the base plates. Structures: Add buildings, vehicles, or other structures to your layout. We currently have a (very) limited number of base plates and structure designs. Users can add their own tables, base plates and structures by creating an .svg file and saving it into the designated nControl folder.
